See the Edmonton Zoo Get Lit Up December 3rd-26th

You've been to the Zoo before, but now it's time to experience it from a different perspective. Literally. Zoominescence at the Edmonton Valley Zoo will bring the mood of winter to Edmonton. Come down to cavort with the critters, glide into your skates, make a craft, and see the brilliance of the installations to light up your night. In the winter, the Zoo's mission is to highlight light, craftsmanship, inventiveness, and our community's strong spirit. 

Light Up Downtown

To formally kick off the December holiday season, downtown Edmonton will turn on its holiday lights. There will be a joyous atmosphere in the atmosphere. There will be ice skating and a craft fair where you may see some amazing goods in addition to the lighting ceremony.


This is a full day of holiday fun that starts at 7 a.m. with breakfast. The festivities go from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All of the festivities and celebrations are free to attend, and there will be plenty of food available for purchase. All of the events take place on Jasper Avenue in downtown Edmonton. That's smack in the midst of this big city, and it's only a few blocks from the Rossdale.
